  This is a fine golf course that is fun to play, after an opening hole that is a beast, the course is a mix of challenging holes surrounded by lots of beauty. Sadly the problem here is the pace of play.
  
  Despite a scorecard warning that "Slow play will NOT be tolerated," my round took nearly five hours due to a six-person group that was playing in front of us. The group shrunk to five at the turn - when I asked staff why a fivesome was allowed to play, they said that "It happens sometimes - you just got some bad luck."
  
  I showed the head pro the scorecard's warning - he said "What do you want me to do? You've never seen a fivesome before?"
  
  Know what? even on my local muni, they prohibit fivesomes, and I've never seen a course that charges $65 allow fivesomes, much less sixsomes.
  
  Avoid playing here.
